MAN ProfiDrive® — professional driver training in passenger transport

The world of commercial passenger transport is changing at an increasing pace, innovative technologies are defining the requirements for safety and efficiency and the laws and guidelines are continually being updated. As a result of these developments, professional drivers, bus drivers and driving instructors are forever faced with huge challenges for ensuring the safety of their passengers at all times.

In order to focus upon drivers' needs and cater for the demands of companies and passengers, the professional training programme MAN ProfiDrive® has been developed. Benefit from more than 30 years of experience and know-how in safety and efficiency in road traffic. The programme includes theoretical advanced training based upon the professional drivers' qualification law (BKrFQG) as well as professional and practical training for making everyday driving even safer and more efficient.

Advanced training measures based upon the professional drivers' qualification law

Areas of knowledge according to the professional drivers' qualification law

Every five years, professional drivers from driving licence class D1 must pass an advanced training course of 35 hours, which consists of five modules each lasting 7 hours in three areas of knowledge; driving style, regulations, road and environmental safety. The content of the theoretical and practical training measures is based upon the professional drivers' qualification law.

MAN ProfiDrive® provides an opportunity to complete all advanced training measures required by law which help to improve the safety of drivers and reduce pollution. The training can be held locally or at a MAN Centre near you, as required. You are welcome to contact us at any time if you would like to arrange individual or group training.
