Additionally, the upgraded electronics structure increases reliability and improves operational safety.


The Euro 6 exhaust-gas standard restricts primarily the emission of pollutants in exhaust gas, such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulates (PM).

There is a choice of two transmissions for the MAN Lion’s City Ü. A Voith four-speed automatic transmission with differential converter and powerful secondary retarder as well as a ZF six-speed automatic transmission with torque converter and integrated primary retarder. Both transmissions are ideal for use in the Lion’s City Ü and provide superb and efficient power transmission.

MAN is the market leader in natural gas buses that satisfy the stringent Euro 6 exhaust-gas standard and achieve best emission values without complex exhaust gas after-treatment.

Compared with the previous air conditioning systems, the new air conditioning system is considerably lighter — the vehicle weight is less, the fuel consumption is lowered. Also, the new air conditioning system needs much less refrigerant and has a longer service life. The reduction of attachment points makes access to the technical equipment easier, which significantly reduces maintenance times.
